This is a delicious and creamy dairy-free alternative to your morning coffee. Matcha is one of the healthiest beverages in that it contains powerful antioxidants. Health benefits include improvement to brain function, fat burning, and lowers of the risk of numerous chronic diseases.  

 

1 cups water

1/4 cup raw almonds

2 Tbsp raw cacao powder

2-3 pitted dates

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/8 tsp nutmeg

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper or smoked chipotle powder

pinch of salt

 

  • Blend until smooth. Heat gently in a saucepan, if necessary.
