Before you reach for that cup of coffee first thing in the morning, drink 2 glasses of water, or one of these purifying drinks. 

 

LEMON + CAYENNE

A cup of hot water with a squeeze of fresh lemon is hydrating, helps you alkalize your body, lowers blood sugar levels, aids digestion, breaks down fat, and cleans your body from toxins. Cayenne pepper helps improve circulation and aids digestion. 

 

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

A teaspoon of apple cider vinegar (ACV) with a cup of warm water is also a great way to start to the day. There are numerous health benefits to this daily tonic, including balancing your body’s pH levels, promoting good gut health, and helping to detoxify your body. 

 

FRESH GINGER

Fresh ginger stimulates appetite, aids digestion, and has powerful anti-inflammatory properties which help to relieve nausea, muscle pain, migraines, and congestion. This medicinal root makes a great, warming, natural tea. Just steep a 1-inch piece, (either thinly sliced or grated) in boiled water for 5-10 minutes. Perfect in the fall and spring to help relieve seasonal allergies, and in the winter to stimulate 

blood circulation and fight colds and flu.
