This is a delicious and creamy dairy-free alternative to your morning coffee. Matcha is one of the healthiest beverages in that it contains powerful antioxidants. Health benefits include improvement to brain function, fat burning, and lowers of the risk of numerous chronic diseases.  

 

Homemade Cashew Milk

Matcha 

Brown rice or Maple syrup, to taste (optional)

 

  • In a small saucepan, on a medium -low heat, gently heat the cashew milk up, almost, but not quite, to a boil. Add the green tea powder to a heatproof cup add a little of the warm milk, whisking to combine and dissolve the powder. Add more milk to the deired amount and whisk in a front to back motion to froth up lightly. If necessary, sweeten to taste.
